The MMFT program equips students for professional practice in marriage and family therapy. Housed within the College of Education and Human Services' Department of Human Development and Family Studies, this program benefits from an institution ranked in the top 2% nationally - #1 in Utah and #32 among all graduate schools, while also ranking #13 for total research funding. While exploring human development and family dynamics, students fulfill both academic coursework and preliminary clinical training necessary for Utah licensure as marriage and family therapists and for clinical membership with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. COAMFTE-accredited, this program meets the educational requirements for Utah's intern-level marriage and family therapy licensure.
