The Advanced Certificate in School Psychology is a 27-credit program focusing on theoretical foundations, research methodologies, and practical applications. Learners work alongside professors to develop professional portfolios featuring published works and conference presentations at both regional and national levels. After finishing the 33-credit M.S.Ed. program followed by the 27-credit advanced certificate, students qualify for New York State school psychology certification and can pursue the Nationally Certified School Psychologist designation through the National Association of School Psychologists. Our program equips graduates to serve culturally diverse communities within New York City's public and private school systems.
