Emphasizing hands-on training alongside academic coursework, the program requires all students to complete clinical rotations at UCF's Community Counseling and Research Center along with community-based internships. This center functions as the program's primary training and research facility, where graduate students offer therapeutic services to clients of all ages through individual, couples, and family counseling sessions. Annually, the CCRC supports over 1,400 clients throughout Central Florida.
