The audiology program trains doctoral-level professionals to assess and treat individuals with hearing-related differences. This four-year, post-baccalaureate residency program—the first of its kind in the Intermountain West and Pacific regions—prepares graduates to enter the profession at an advanced level and pursue fulfilling careers in this dynamic healthcare field. AuD graduates become licensed audiologists, working in diverse settings such as hospitals, clinics, and schools. Utah State University's residential audiology doctoral program (AuD) holds accreditation from the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association), located at 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, MD 20850.
