The Department of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences collaborates with Adelphi and St. John's Universities to provide a four-year AuD (Doctor of Audiology) program for students holding a bachelor's degree. This joint initiative features a unified curriculum across all three participating institutions, aiming to develop expert clinicians capable of delivering diverse diagnostic, therapeutic, and essential audiological services. Participants must finish at least 86 credit hours of graduate-level coursework. Advancement to Level 3 requires passing a comprehensive exam after Level 2, followed by another comprehensive assessment at Level 3's conclusion. Practical training occurs each term through Level 3, culminating in a full-time clinical externship during the final year.
