Wichita State's Doctor of Audiology (AuD) program equips you for a thriving career in assessing, managing, and preventing hearing disorders. Throughout your studies, you'll gain hands-on experience at the WSU Evelyn Hendren Cassat Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, various healthcare facilities in Kansas' medical center, and clinical sites nationwide. The curriculum consists of at least 89 credit hours of academic and clinical coursework (92 credit hours if choosing research project option 2), plus 9 additional hours covering American Sign Language, typical speech/language development, and aural rehabilitation. Students must participate in clinical practicum courses every semester and undergo yearly HIPAA certification.
