Students who complete the Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in General Technology can now seamlessly transfer their credits, including a 900-hour certificate from the Utah System of Technical Colleges (USTC), into the Technology Systems Bachelor of Science (B.S.) pathway.
This program aims to provide working professionals with a chance to advance their careers and continue their education through flexible degree options that accommodate busy schedules. Individuals without a USTC certificate or the AAS in General Technology may also explore this program to apply technical credits earned at Utah State University or other schools. Course substitutions are evaluated individually and subject to advisor approval. Students from Business, Engineering, and Outdoor Product programs are transitioning to Technology Systems to expedite degree completion or overcome challenges in their current studies. The curriculum covers diverse subjects tailored to each student's chosen emphasis area, such as business, marketing, manufacturing, CAD, robotics, controls, material science, electronics, color theory, textiles, digital design, computer science, cyber security, computer networking, and computer automation, offering a broad range of topics to explore through coursework.
