The University of Washington's Master of Science in Counseling program provides specialized tracks in both school counseling and mental health counseling, equipping you to support clients throughout their lives. This comprehensive program leads to certification as a school counselor or delivers the foundational training for provisional mental health counselor licensure.
School Counseling Specialization
This concentration develops your expertise to serve as an educational leader, collaborating with students, faculty, administrators, families, and community partners to foster culturally responsive development for P-12 learners. Notably, this program welcomes applicants without prior P-12 educational experience.
