The University of Wyoming's Higher Education Administration graduate program pioneered this field in the Rocky Mountain area and has gained growing acclaim for its work in adult education and collegiate studies. Established in 1950, the program originally functioned as a collaboration between the College of Education and the Community Services Division under Clarence D. Jayne's leadership.

Students in Higher Education Administration gain the skills to serve as administrators and specialists, overseeing, creating, implementing, and managing comprehensive educational initiatives for adult learners at all life stages.

Our Master of Arts program equips graduates for beginning leadership roles, while the Doctor of Education program develops professionals for senior administrative positions.
