Qualification Requirements

Copies of all current and previous colleges/universities except Marquette.1
Three letters of recommendation addressing the applicant's ability to do graduate-level work.
A personal statement of purpose that includes professional and academic goals.
A resume that includes professional and educational experiences.
A sample of scholarly writing, such as a master's thesis or a published article.
GRE scores (general test only)
For International Applicants only: A TOEFL score or other acceptable proof of English proficiency.
An interview and/or writing test may be required of applicants following the initial screening.

IELTS total score of 6.5 or higher will be required for admission.
TOEFL score of at least 213 on the computer-based version or 80 on the internet-based version (a minimum of 20 on each section).
The minimum acceptable undergraduate (or graduate, where applicable) GPA is 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
