The Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development pioneers research on educational and organizational transformation across local, national, and global settings. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and cross-cultural partnerships, its academic programs and initiatives engage educators, researchers, and policymakers working to strengthen leadership approaches, policy frameworks, and development strategies worldwide. Doctoral candidates in the EdD program select from three specialized concentrations: education policy and leadership (EPL), higher education administration (HE), or human resource development (HRD). Graduate students can pursue M.A. or Ph.D. degrees in these focus areas, plus comparative and international development education (CIDE) or evaluation studies (ES). At the undergraduate level, the department provides programs in human resource development alongside business and marketing education. Professional development courses and certification programs are also available for working practitioners.
A master's degree is required. The preferred graduate GPA for admittance to the program is 3.50.
The preferred undergraduate GPA for admittance to the program is 3.00.
