The Instructional Leadership and Academic Leadership (ILAC) graduate programs aim to enhance K-12 educators' subject expertise and teaching methodologies. Although several ILAC graduate programs concentrate on specific subjects, they maintain an interdisciplinary approach, offering adaptability and personalized specialization. For instance, a recent program graduate integrated mathematics instruction with elementary reading education through the ILAC master's degree. Other alumni are now teaching various languages, including French and Spanish, in K-12 environments. Students in this program collaborate extensively with faculty advisors to tailor their coursework and practical experiences to align with both academic objectives and professional aspirations.
