The Gender and Women's Studies (GWS) program offers students an opportunity to examine the intersections of equity, social justice, and issues surrounding gender, sexuality, and identity. Through interdisciplinary approaches spanning literature, history, anthropology, sociology, public health, education, law, biology, psychology, political science, and visual arts, GWS students gain comprehensive perspectives. Our courses foster critical thinking and effective communication through engaged discussions, written assignments, and self-directed projects. Undergraduate students can enhance their research abilities via thesis work while accessing career-building resources like alumni-led workshops and internship placements.
