The Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences program offers comprehensive learning across essential arts and sciences disciplines, emphasizing their interrelationships. This curriculum features foundational classes in history, environmental science, literature/arts, social sciences, and an introductory Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences course, enabling students to fully leverage cross-disciplinary learning while developing crucial skills for today's dynamic global environment.
Those pursuing the Global Studies specialization examine diverse international topics, exploring cultural, political, and economic systems across nations. Language proficiency forms a core requirement of Global Studies. Learners can tailor their education to specific geographic areas or thematic interests. Graduates receive a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences with a Global Studies specialization.
Student must have a High School Qualification.
Due to limited testing availability from COVID-19, the UW will accept the Duolingo’s English Test for autumn 2021 applicants. A minimum score of 105 will be required for admission. The TOEFL iBT special home edition and the IELTS Indicator at home exam will also be accepted for 2021 international freshman applicants.
