An Africana Studies major or minor provides an in-depth exploration of the African Diaspora.
Our program offers distinctive insights into racism, colonialism, capitalism, and geography, highlighting the crucial role of people of color in shaping today's world. You can expand your knowledge in social sciences, humanities, and public health by examining both past and present realities of Black communities.
The Center for Africana Studies serves as the academic hub for students, scholars, and professors focused on Africa and its diaspora through historical, political, artistic, scientific, literary, educational, and economic research. Both Major and Minor programs are available.
Student must have high school transcript.
English language Requirements:
Students must have Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) are 26 (Reading), 26 (Listening), 22 (Writing), and 25 (Speaking). A score of 7.0 or higher on each band is expected on IELTS.
