Degrees offered
Bachelor's Degree
To earn the degree, students must complete 30 credits, with at least 24 credits coming from graded courses. This includes taking either PLAD 7090 (Research Methods in Political Science) or PLPT 5010 (The Nature of Political Inquiry).
Language proficiency can be demonstrated in one of three ways: passing a university-administered language test, succeeding in an oral exam evaluated by a department-approved examiner, or earning at least a B in a 2020-level language course at the University. Native speakers of languages other than English may use their first language to meet this requirement. As an alternative, students can show quantitative skills by successfully completing PLAD 7100 (Political Research with Quantitative Methods).
