The MPSA program cultivates ethical leaders for public service and nonprofit organizations, equipping students with essential skills and expertise to navigate contemporary challenges with integrity. Accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration, the program offers comprehensive training in management, leadership, policy analysis, and research methodologies. In 2020, the Bush School earned recognition as the top-value residential MPSA program by Value College.
The Master of Public Service and Administration (MPSA) is a 48-credit, two-year degree program. Candidates lacking significant professional background must undertake a non-credit internship during their summer break. The curriculum features ten core courses that build foundational competencies in key areas, culminating in a second-year Capstone project where students tackle real-world issues. While some electives are available online, the complete program can be pursued through in-person instruction.
