The Master's program in Instructional Design and Educational Technology (IDET) is offered through the University of Utah's Department of Educational Psychology.
This program equips students with skills to assess, create, deliver, and assess technology-enhanced learning solutions for educational settings. Participants will explore both theoretical foundations of tech-assisted teaching and practical applications that enhance pedagogical effectiveness.
The instructional design (ID) portion teaches students to recognize learning objectives and craft tailored educational systems to achieve them.
Through the educational technology (ET) segment, students gain expertise in building digital learning spaces where technological tools effectively address and support educational objectives.

A 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA in the undergraduate career, or otherwise demonstrable academic readiness for graduate-level studies
