The RME M.S. Ed. program operates under these guiding principles:
Our program's vision focuses on bridging methodological theory with real-world application in social sciences and education.
The RME M.S.Ed. program strives to: (a) enhance quantitative methodology in social science research, and (b) equip students with comprehensive training to excel as skilled researchers, data analysts, research coordinators, and measurement specialists across academic and professional settings.
The Research, Measurement, and Evaluation (RME) program's primary purpose is developing proficiency in research methods, measurement techniques, and statistical analysis for applied studies, evaluations, and assessments in education, psychology, and health-related fields.
As a STEM-recognized degree program, the RME M.S.Ed. focuses on teaching research methodologies, essential statistical and measurement analyses, and data management software necessary for conducting studies and evaluations in education, psychology, healthcare, and human services.
To achieve these objectives, our curriculum delivers thorough instruction in relevant methodologies and statistical tools through both coursework and practical experience. We offer diverse courses encompassing fundamental statistics, general linear models, multivariate analysis, structural equation modeling, hierarchical modeling, psychometrics, data handling, and programming using R, SPSS, SAS, or Mplus.
