The Department of World Languages and Cultures is currently updating the Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies (CLCS) curriculum, with new student declarations starting Fall 2020. CLCS majors and minors examine various literatures and cultures within one unified program. As a CLCS participant, you'll investigate cross-cultural themes throughout history, contrast different national literatures and traditions, study global theoretical approaches, and critically assess diverse textual forms (including written works, visual arts, music, etc.) from various cultural contexts.
