Santa Barbara City College's Film and Media Studies Department provides diverse course options tailored for both dedicated film students and curious non-majors seeking to broaden their understanding of cinematic and digital media during their college years. Screenwriting instruction progresses from foundational to advanced techniques, covering story development, research methods, structural analysis, draft refinement, and final script production.
