Our programs equip you for rewarding careers in communication sciences and disorders. With guidance from experienced faculty who emphasize personalized instruction, you'll receive thorough training in enhancing and restoring speech, language, and swallowing abilities.

Your undergraduate journey will include foundational science courses and pre-professional classes, culminating in an on-site practicum during your final year. The master's curriculum blends theoretical learning with hands-on experience at TU's speech and hearing clinic, followed by practical training at external locations. TU's programs build both academic knowledge and clinical expertise, enabling you to effectively assess, treat, and research communication and swallowing disorders.
Our department offers robust academic and clinical preparation for graduate studies in speech-language pathology and audiology. Earning both degrees at TU fulfills the requirements for Oklahoma state licensure, school certification, and ASHA accreditation. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics ranks speech-language pathology among the nation's fastest-growing professions.
