The Master of Education (MEd) in Communication Sciences and Disorders is an ASHA-approved graduate program specializing in speech-language pathology. This program equips graduates with the qualifications to become licensed and certified speech-language pathologists across various professional environments, including clinics, hospitals, and schools. Through a combination of academic instruction, hands-on clinical training at our campus facilities, community service initiatives, and external clinical placements, students gain the expertise required to launch their professional journeys with assurance.

This MEd program follows a non-thesis curriculum. For those wishing to include research components in their graduate studies, our MA program may be a suitable alternative. Regardless of which degree path you choose, both options emphasize evidence-based approaches, culturally responsive care for diverse populations, and continuous professional development - from initial supervised clinical experiences through final internships and throughout your career.

This intensive two-year, full-time program provides the necessary training to pursue state licensure and national certification in speech-language pathology
