Students have the opportunity to pursue a joint degree program with the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, earning both an MPAff and a Master of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies. This integrated approach merges sophisticated policy analysis with comprehensive regional studies, addressing growing demands in government and business for policy experts with deep knowledge of Middle Eastern political systems and cultural contexts.
The combined degree curriculum allows participants to obtain both graduate degrees concurrently within two and a half years. Certain candidates, especially those needing additional language preparation, might require an extra semester or summer term to fulfill all program requirements. Both degrees are conferred upon successful completion of all coursework in each discipline.
