Qualification Requirements

Students applying to the Ph.D. degree program are expected to hold a master's degree in kinesiology or a related field.
All students applying for graduate study are expected to demonstrate competency in each of the following four areas:
Human Anatomy (e.g., KIN 424K)
Vertebrate or Human Physiology (e.g., BIO 365S)
Biomechanics (e.g., KIN 326K)
Motor Learning (e.g., KIN 335C) or Neuromuscular Control (e.g., KIN 336)
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in the U.S. or proof of equivalent training at a foreign institution.
A minimum required GPA (3.0), particularly during the last two years of college and in any graduate study previously undertaken.
GRE Required - No

TOEFL: 79 on the Internet-based test (iBT)
IELTS: An overall band of 6.5 on the Academic Examination
