The Complex Biosystems program is designed for students who want to use quantitative statistical and computational methods across various biological fields such as human health, medical biochemistry, microbial metagenomics, ecology, evolutionary studies, and plant systems. During the initial year, this interdisciplinary curriculum provides two semesters of lab rotations covering diverse subjects, along with one semester of hands-on teaching experience in a laboratory setting. First-year students explore major challenges in life sciences while mastering modern technical and analytical techniques to solve them.
