The University of South Alabama's Bachelor of Arts in Drama program delivers both theoretical knowledge about live theater production and hands-on training. Students engage in coursework and participate in four annual productions, developing artistic skills while preparing for professional careers. The drama major deepens theatrical understanding while allowing specialization in performance, design, or technical theater. The curriculum combines classroom instruction, practical workshops, and experiential learning across all theater disciplines.
Applicants must have completed a secondary schools with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5. English Proficiency Requirement: Minimum IELTS: 5.5, Minimum TOEFL: 61, Minimum Pearson Academic: 44, Minimum iTEP: 3.6, Minimum Duolingo: 95.
