The MS in Clinical Investigation is a 31-credit program that equips students with essential skills and methodologies to:
design and execute thorough clinical research,
enhance data-driven medical decisions, and
assess healthcare delivery systems. Situated within a major urban medical center, our program leverages the University of Rochester's extensive clinical research facilities and faculty partnerships.
The University hosts multiple health sciences graduate programs and a vibrant, diverse student community. Students complete coursework in one year of full-time study, followed by a mentored research project that typically continues beyond the academic year. This program trains clinician-researchers to perform patient-centered studies focused on developing interventions and technologies that optimize patient safety and care quality.
