The college provides both M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences with four concentration options. Through the Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy track, students explore pharmaceutical development and administration via synthesis techniques, mechanistic studies, computational modeling, screening processes, and extraction of bioactive compounds from botanical and marine organisms.
Key research domains encompass: oncology, HIV therapeutics, cerebrovascular disorders, nanomedicine, neuropharmaceuticals, antimicrobial agents, drug-resistant pathogens, plant-based medicines, computational biology, peptide production, and genomic integrity studies.
