Students pursuing a Master of Science in Historic Preservation at Weitzman can choose to concurrently earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Wharton School. Candidates for this dual-degree program must submit separate applications to both Weitzman School and Wharton's MBA program. Each institution makes its own admission decision, and dual-degree enrollment is only permitted for those accepted by both schools. Current Weitzman students may apply to Wharton during their first fall semester. For the Weitzman component, participants must complete a minimum of 15 course units in historic preservation. The MBA requirements include at least 15 Wharton course units, with the stipulation that any Wharton courses taken before admission don't count toward the MBA. The program structure involves one full year at Weitzman, followed by a year at Wharton, with the third year combining courses from both disciplines.
