The Master of Science in Architecture program enhances the expertise of students holding prior professional architecture degrees via in-depth research and innovative prototyping. The MS.Arch curriculum provides an intensive post-professional education rooted in cutting-edge investigation. This program specifically focuses on design research that fosters fresh perspectives and approaches addressing climate challenges. By conducting thorough analysis and experimental work across diverse New York City locations, students expand their comprehension of living systems while developing novel abilities to conceptualize, simulate, and construct architectural concepts within environmentally intricate settings.
Open to students holding a five-year (BArch) or equivalent (MArch) degree in Architecture. Admission is for fall and spring term.
TOEFL score of 79 (internet and home test), TOEFL ITP Plus for China of 550, IELTS of 6.5, Duolingo of 105, or PTE of 53 is required.
