The Master's program in Architecture-based Enterprise Systems Engineering Leadership aims to train experienced engineers and engineering managers in addressing challenges and innovative solutions for enterprises operating in complex, globally distributed, and rapidly changing environments. By blending management and engineering perspectives—a critical factor in tackling enterprise complexity—the AESE program provides a comprehensive approach. For students unable to attend in person, part of the curriculum is offered through live online distance learning. Admission requires faculty director approval. Distance learners must participate in real-time virtual sessions alongside on-campus students and attend a quarterly four-day session in La Jolla, as well as return in August to present their final capstone projects.
