The Cell and Molecular Biology Graduate Group (CAMB) is an interdisciplinary doctoral program offering comprehensive education in contemporary cell and molecular biology, equipping students for prominent roles in biomedical research. This unified program encompasses six specialized fields: Cancer Biology, Cellular Biology, Physiology and Metabolism, Developmental and Regenerative Biology with Stem Cells, Genetic Therapies and Immunizations, Heredity and Epigenetic Studies, along with Microbial, Viral and Parasitic Sciences. Over 300 faculty researchers from 35 departments across the Perelman School of Medicine, Arts and Sciences, Dental Medicine, and Veterinary Medicine schools, as well as Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the Wistar Institute, and Fox Chase Cancer Center contribute to the program. Their investigations span diverse research topics, biological models, and cutting-edge techniques, representing the forefront of both fundamental and applied biomedical research.
