The Department of Theatre Arts aims to recruit graduate students passionate about both theatrical practice and theoretical exploration. These students possess an insatiable curiosity, not just about techniques but also about theatre's historical context, objectives, and potential. Our two-year MA program focuses on academic inquiry, frequently serving as preparation for doctoral studies. The three-year MFA, our terminal degree, prepares students for professional careers or teaching in theatrical production, with specialized tracks available in scenic, costume, and lighting design - including dual concentration options.

Letter of Recommendation Please provide the appropriate contact information for three (3) references, including an email address. Each reference will be contacted via email by the university and asked to fill out a reference sheet, which includes a space for them to add a letter of recommendation. Please encourage your references to complete and send their referral by the application deadline.
