The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry aims to educate Oklahoma residents and the nation by teaching undergraduate students in our programs, related fields, and general education courses about chemistry and biochemistry's role in nature. We train graduate students and postdoctoral researchers professionally, generate and share new scientific discoveries, offer specialized guidance to educational, industrial, and government organizations, and contribute service to both the university and professional communities.

Students will need to know the name and email address of their preferred recommender so he/she can be contacted about composing the letter of recommendation.
