The Bachelor of Science in Biology provides thorough education in biological sciences, focusing on essential technical competencies required for professional or research-oriented careers in healthcare, academia, or industry. Undergraduate biology students aim to develop broad knowledge and skills, as outlined by the Biological Sciences Faculty, which are considered fundamental before graduation. These competencies are cultivated through a structured curriculum featuring mandatory core classes, adaptable breadth requirements, and student-focused electives within the Biological Sciences Department. Students should recognize that mastery is not attained through any single course but rather through cumulative learning and retention across the entire program.

The B.S. in Mathematical Sciences establishes a solid grounding in key mathematical principles, enabling students to utilize mathematical and statistical analysis in fields such as research, medicine, finance, technology, and more. Through this program, students develop a robust foundation in both theoretical and applied mathematics, applicable to specialized areas like computer science, natural sciences, business, or social sciences. The curriculum is designed to equip graduates for advanced studies or rewarding careers in mathematical sciences and related disciplines.
