The School of Biological Sciences provides academic programs across diverse biology disciplines, awarding both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees. Our curriculum and research span all scales of biological study—from molecular processes to entire ecosystems—with emphasis on interdisciplinary connections. Pursuing biological sciences opens doors to numerous career paths such as healthcare, public service, corporate sectors, teaching, and scientific investigation. Students majoring in biological sciences are highly encouraged to participate in at least one summer term at the Cedar Point Biological Station. Additionally, undergraduates are recommended to engage in faculty-led research initiatives.
