The biology department recommends that prospective majors consult with an academic advisor before officially declaring. It's important to inform the department promptly once you've decided to pursue biology as your major. You'll be assigned a faculty advisor upon formal declaration.

Only biology courses with grades of C- or above will apply toward the major's credit requirements.
