Create artwork through traditional and innovative print techniques. The Printmaking program helps you cultivate a unique artistic perspective and studio practice, drawing from a deep heritage while embracing modern image-making methods. Within the college's cutting-edge facilities and meticulously maintained print studios, you'll experiment with relief, screen printing, intaglio, lithography, monotype, and hybrid processes that blend handcrafted and digital techniques.

B.F.A. in Studio Art students specializing in Printmaking produce a final portfolio showcasing original, unified works. By graduation, you'll have honed your artistic voice, built professional creative habits, developed self-discipline, and gained cultural insight. Our program partners with local print studios to give students real-world experience and industry connections. Throughout your studies, you'll have numerous chances to display your creations in campus venues like the Cora Stafford Gallery, Paul Voertman Gallery, and other exhibition spaces.

College/University
Completion of Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree
Completion of two university-level, academic English courses (excludes English as a Second Language courses) for a total of 6 credit hours with a grade of C or higher in both courses
Completion of 30+ hours of university-level, academic coursework with an overall GPA of 2.25 or equivalent. Student must be enrolled at the time of application and must have maintained continuous enrollment prior to their transfer to UNT.
