The joint social work and law degree equips students for leadership positions in advocacy, policy administration, and social justice within specialized human services fields. Applicants can submit applications to both programs simultaneously or after gaining admission to the first program. Typically, students are advised to apply to the Social Work School in their initial year of legal studies. The standard path involves completing two years of law studies before transitioning to full-time social work coursework. Remaining requirements for both programs are fulfilled during the third and fourth academic years.
The minimum requirements are a bachelor's degree (based on a four-year curriculum) completed before graduate study begins or its international equivalent with an accredited institution; an average grade of B (cumulative GPA 3.0) or better.
The required minimum total score on the exams are internet-based TOEFL exam = 90, The IELTS exam = 7.
