The objectives of this initiative are to: Train PhD candidates who will generate and share insights in Human Movement Science. Graduates will demonstrate exceptional ability to collaborate on scientific challenges concerning human motion from a comprehensive, worldwide perspective. Perform practical and/or translational studies employing multidisciplinary methods centered on both healthy and compromised human movement. Our program's research will embody the intricate relationships among the various systems governing movement, ultimately advancing health and bodily wellness. A distinctive aspect involves preserving health, avoiding disability, and enhancing mobility for individuals with movement disorders. The curriculum offers rigorous academic training through structured coursework and hands-on research opportunities, supported by diverse faculty and peers. While maintaining essential core components, the program allows significant customization to align with specialized focus areas and individual academic interests. We are dedicated to cultivating top-tier researchers, educators, and academic leaders who will bridge advanced scientific discoveries with clinical applications to maintain and enhance human mobility.
A master’s degree in a field related to human movement is preferred, but qualified candidates with a bachelor’s degree will be considered for admission. (e.g., physical therapy, exercise science, athletic training, biomedical engineering, anatomy, etc).
A grade point average of 3.0 or better in the last two years of your most recent degree program.
The required minimum total score on the exams are internet-based TOEFL exam = 90, The IELTS exam = 7.
