The formative years play a vital role in fostering children's inquisitiveness, self-assurance, and passion for knowledge. Our M.Ed. in early childhood education explores the varied backgrounds and growth patterns of young learners, while teaching you to create suitable educational settings and teaching plans. You'll gain deeper insights into how families, communities, and social policies influence early development and classroom dynamics. The program concludes with a comprehensive, hands-on internship. Designed for educators, administrators, and early childhood professionals seeking to enhance their skills and expand career prospects, our graduate program provides rigorous academic training. Students can pursue elective courses to obtain teacher certification alongside their master's degree, with options for dual certification in both early childhood education and special education. The program aligns with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) standards for advanced degrees, as well as New Hampshire's teacher certification requirements.
