The Department of Educational and Clinical Studies provides a Bachelor of Science in Special Education for students pursuing careers in school and community-based specialized services. Undergraduate students engage in both academic coursework and hands-on training, building a strong foundation in research methodology, teaching practices, and delivering required services across local, state, and federal levels.
Program Objectives
After completing this degree, graduates will demonstrate the ability to:
Express their educational philosophy regarding special education, including understanding the full range of support options for individuals with disabilities.
