By its very nature, IT innovation merges computer science and management information systems with various fields that influence technology design and implementation, including healthcare, business, psychology, arts, music, and public administration. This field bridges diverse disciplines beyond just information technology. Moreover, IT Innovation adopts a comprehensive approach to product development: It encompasses the entire lifecycle from concept generation and design to the business execution of turning innovations into viable, market-ready solutions. The need for skilled ITIN professionals continues to grow across local, regional, and national markets, prompting the creation of the MS in ITIN program. Writing Sample: Applicants are required to submit a writing sample about an area of innovation, information technology, or design that is of specific interest to them. This should be a two page double-spaced word processed essay that showcases your unique interest in interdisciplinary ideas and applications in technology, and demonstrates your potential for success in a hands-on and self-directed the graduate program.
One letter of recommendation from a reference who can evaluate the applicant's work and/or academic achievements.
Official transcripts of all college coursework. The minimum undergraduate grade point average requirement for the MS in ITIN program is 3.00 or equivalent score on a 4.00 scale. All applicants must have the equivalent of a 4-year undergraduate degree.
International applicants who do not have a baccalaureate or equivalent degree from an English-speaking institution of higher education are required to submit a current TOEFL/IELTS score.
The minimum TOEFL requirement for the MS in ITIN program is 550 (paper-based) / 213 (computer-based) / 80 (Internet-based).
The minimum IELTS requirement for the MS in ITIN program is 6.5 overall.
