The non-ruminant nutrition research initiative encompasses both practical and fundamental studies focused on poultry and swine. Faculty-led investigations provide diverse learning experiences for students at all academic levels. Undergraduate positions involve responsibilities such as animal feeding and daily care, gathering feed and animal data, preparing samples, conducting laboratory tests, collecting carcass measurements, and participating in internship programs.
