The School Psychology program enjoys widespread recognition at both local and national levels. Frequently ranked among the elite school psychology programs, it has been featured in research publications as a leading program nationwide for scholarly output in major school psychology journals. Our program holds accreditation from the American Psychological Association (APA) and endorsement from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). The UNL Chancellor has also recognized our School Psychology program as one of the university's premier offerings. We offer a 3-year EdS program and a 6-year PhD program, with both tracks preparing graduates for national certification as school psychologists (NCSP). PhD graduates additionally qualify for professional psychology licensure.
