The University of La Verne's Clinical Psychology (PsyD) program is dedicated to developing scholar-practitioners who demonstrate critical thinking, diligent knowledge application, and ethical, compassionate care. We believe clinical practice should be grounded in psychological science, while psychological research should be enriched by real-world clinical experience.

Our curriculum focuses on three key objectives. First, we aim to develop professionals who understand, can apply, and can synthesize psychological theory, scientific principles, professional psychology fundamentals, and multicultural clinical perspectives.
