Combine academic research with hands-on clinical experience. Our developmental psychopathology and clinical science program allows you to examine psychological disorders through a developmental lens while establishing expertise in research methodologies. You'll develop the competencies required for clinical licensure while taking developmental psychology classes alongside your peers at the Institute of Child Development, complemented by clinical training from the Psychology Department. The curriculum includes both theoretical studies in developmental and clinical psychology along with practical clinical placements, culminating in a full-year internship. Your training will meet APA accreditation standards through the University of Minnesota's Psychology Department.
