The music education degree provides two specialization options: instrumental/general music K-12 and choral/general. For the instrumental/general track, students must pass an audition using a band or orchestral instrument, while the choral/general track requires admission through voice, piano, or organ performance. Graduating with this music education degree qualifies students for state certification in their chosen specialization.
Student are required to have a high school graduation
English Language Proficiency Requirements: TOEFL iBT – 79; IELTS Academic – 6.5; Pearson Test of Academic English (PTE Academic) – 59; Cambridge Assessment English (CAE) C1 Advanced – 180.
Application Deadline for Fall: For freshmen international students the deadlines are November 1 (early action 1 deadline), December 1 (early action 2 deadline) and January 1 (regular deadline)
