The University of Memphis Art Department provides a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education along with post-degree certification pathways, featuring a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) for Art Education. Our curriculum focuses on preparing educators for K-12 settings in both urban and suburban schools with diverse learners. Art Education students at UofM are united by their enthusiasm for artistic expression and pedagogy. All students, both freshmen and transfer, must apply online for admission as an undergraduate student.

All international transfer applicants must have their international documents evaluated by a US credentialing agency that holds membership with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
